The Friends of Conservatory Foundation, with the sponsorship of Mr. Raffy Manoukian, is organizing the 5th Levon Chaushyan Competition for the Komitas State Conservatory students of Yerevan and Gyumri.

In 2026 the Competition is open for string instruments. A prize fund of 1 million AMD is announced for students, professors and accompanying pianists. The partner of the Competition, Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall will host the competition on 7th and 8th of June.

The Friends of Conservatory Foundation, with the sponsorship of US based donors of Friends of Komitas Conservatory NGO, is organizing the 4th Levon Chaushyan Competition for the Komitas State Conservatory students of Yerevan and Gyumri. The competition will take place at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall of Yerevan on 9-10 June 2025 in cooperation with the State Philharmonia of Armenia.

The 4th Competition is open for ensembles: trio, quartet, quintet.

The Friends of Conservatory Foundation, with the sponsorship of US based donors of Friends of Komitas Conservatory NGO, has organized the 3rd Levon Chaushyan Competition for the Komitas State Conservatory students of Yerevan and Gyumri.

In 2024 the Competition was open for classical singers in two categories: male and female. Both students and their professors have been awarded a prize fund of 1.7 million AMD.

The Friends of Conservatory Foundation, with the sponsorship of Mr. Raffy Manoukian, has organized the 2nd Levon Chaushyan Competition for the Komitas State Conservatory students of Yerevan and Gyumri.

In 2023 the Competition was open for woodwind and brass instruments. Both students and their professors have been awarded a prize fund of more than 2 million AMD.

In 2024 the Competition will be open for opera singers and will be held in Gyumri.
